What does engine "displacement" mean?
Displacement:  The volume of area displaced by a single stroke of an engine piston movement and is generally used to measure the volumetric power size of an engine. As in most cylinder volume measurements, engine displacement is generally expressed as a measurement of either: a) "cc" (cubic centimeters) or b) "cu.in." (cubic inches).
