Engines Matter at GIE+EXPO 2008

Consistent with its first 100 years, Briggs & Stratton continues to prove that Engines Matter. When it comes to getting the job done, nothing is more important than the engine. GIE+EXPO will be held Thursday, October 23 through Saturday, October 25 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Thousands of visitors from more than 30 countries are expected to attend the show. There will be over 650 exhibitors showing outdoor power equipment, lawn and garden products, outdoor leisure products and rental lines.

The Briggs & Stratton exhibit (inside booth #7104) will showcase the Engine Power Products Group, Commercial Power, Home Power Products and Distribution Sales and Customer Service. Engines Matter exhibit highlights include.

A free concert sponsored by Briggs & Stratton featuring 38 Special, and the Briggs Bluesbusters will torque up downtown Louisville's 4^th Street Live! On Thursday, October 23. The Briggs Bluesbusters, featuring Chairman and CEO John Shiely on rhythm guitar, will rev up the crowd at 6:30pm. At 8:00pm, 38 Special, the artists behind the numberone Billboard hits "Caught Up In You," "If I'd Been the One" and "Second Chance," as well as the hit singles "Hold on Loosely" and "Back Where You Belong" will rock the stage.
