Going to Bat for Children
April 15th, 2009:
Central Saw & Mower of Racine recently teamed up with the Milwaukee Brewers to raise more than $10,000 for terminally ill and disadvantaged children in Southeaestern Wisconsin.
Working with the Koos for Kids charitable organization [www.koosforkids.com] and Milwaukee Brewers bullpen pitcher Marcus Hanel, Central Saw donated a Simplicity Axion mower for the event's auction. Painted in the Brewers team colors and signed by the entire team, it was the hit of the event.
"It's great to have an opportunity to work with a charity that holps the children right, here in our community" says Keith Kudrna of Central Saw. "The mower got rave reviews and brought a lot of positive attention to the event."
Thanks also go out to A-1 Autobody, Signmasters and Erickson's Autotrim for their help in transforming the mower into a Brewers fan's dream and for helping raise money for this worthy cause.
