John Deere® Mower Receives The Prestigious J.D. Power Award

John Deere's JS25 and JS35 walk-behind mowers, manufactured by Briggs & Stratton in it s Newbern, TN facility, was recently present the prestigious 2008 J.D. Power and Associates Award.

"This is the first time J.D. Power & Associates has ranked walk-behind lawn mowers," said Vince Shiely, President Yard Power Products Group at Briggs & Stratton. We are thrilled to be working with John Deere® and to be a part of the first in this category to win this prestigious award."

The John Deere walk-behind mower received the highest customer satisfaction ratings of all walk-behind lawn mower products produced in the United States. Ratings were based on performance, maintenance and warranty. Shiely added, "We take great pride in our products at Briggs & Stratton. This award only reinforces our belief that we make a superior product!"
