When it Runs on Husqvarna, Your Husqvarna Runs Longer

Husqvarna Doubles the Warranty for Consumers and takes the Guess Work out of Mixing Fuel.

Today, Husqvarna -- the world's largest producer of outdoor power products -- announced the launch of a limited consumer extended warranty promotion for its 2-stroke, gasoline-powered products. The standard two-year limited warranty can be extended to three or four years on eligible items1 with the purchase of Husqvarna's 2-stroke oil or pre-mixed fuel.

"We value our customer and are excited to offer the extended warranty for their new Husqvarna handheld products," said Scott Ride, President, Husqvarna Canada. "Additionally, we've taken the guess work out of mixing fuel, providing our customers with a convenient premium product that will heighten the performance and lifespan of their new handheld piece of equipment."

Gone are the days of wasting fuel, trying to measure the perfect amounts of oil and gas and messy mixing. Husqvarna's new Pre-Mixed 2-Stroke Fuel is an ethanol-free, 95-octane fuel mixed with Husqvarna's best synthetic blended oil. The fuel does not degrade or oxidize like pump gas and stays fresh for years, which solve long-term storage issues. Additionally, it provides easier, more dependable starts and protects fuel systems and saves carburetors. With no mixing required the new Pre-Mixed 2-Stroke Fuel is the best pre-mixed fuel option for the best hand held equipment. 

Consumers may extend the warranty by up to two additional years, as follows:

. One-year extension (three years total). Consumers must purchase at least six bottles of Husqvarna brand 2-stroke oil at the same time as the qualifying handheld product purchase, with both purchases on the original product receipt.* 

. Two-year extension (four years total). Consumers must purchase at least three bottles of the new 32oz. Husqvarna brand Pre-Mixed 2-stroke Fuel at the same time as the qualifying handheld product purchase, with both purchases on the original product receipt.* 

Consumers must also register their product directly at the dealer location where purchased in order to qualify for the extended warranty.

¹Eligible items include the following designated Husqvarna-branded handheld products: chainsaws, blowers, hedge trimmers, pole pruners/saws and trimmers, for non-income producing personal use or household purposes2.

² Excluded from the Husqvarna limited extended warranty program are two-stroke, gasoline-powered handheld products purchased for commercial, agricultural, retail, industrial and rental usage.

*Qualifying handheld products purchased at mass retailers not participating in the oil or premix fuel programs are eligible for the warranty extensions above if consumers purchase at least 6 bottles of Husqvarna brand 2 stroke oil or at least 3 bottles of the new 32oz Husqvarna brand Pre-Mixed 2 stroke fuel from an authorized dealer prior to first use of the product. Consumers must register their product at the dealer location where the fuel or oil is purchased in order to qualify for the extended warranty.
