New Products, New Markets

Now that the Lombardini acquisition is official and the recent Kohler-YinXiang, Ltd. Joint venture already in full swing.  Kohler has been very busy strategizing new engine products and markets it can expand worldwide.

 

You'll hear more from Kohler in the next quarter about new, spark-ignited engines resulting from the joint venture, and how Kohler will expand its attractiveness to the equipment manufacturers seeking diesel power.  Lombardini's compression-ignited engine line ranges from 3 to 72 hp and serves the industrial, transportation, agriculture, marine and light-construction industries.

 

As part of its strategic plan, Kohler will continue to grow as a full-line, global supplier of small, spark-ignited and compression-ignited engines.  We've been limited in many ways to grow globally.  There have been steep issues in our geographic reach, access to market, and product gaps.  We're now setting the foundation that will drive growth for the Kohler Global Power Group, in a way that is consistent with the Kohler brand and that allows us to participate in growing markets worldwide.

 

So please stay tuned.  We're excited about the new opportunities ahead and we look forward to sharing these with our distributors, dealers and end customers.
